I was talking to my Neighbour yesterday regarding his 2010 RZ2. He told me that Tige had recently paid to shave the chine on the port side of his boat down and the reglass it under warranty. He was complaining that over 25mph the boat would list over, so he had to ballast te front corner to counterweight it although it was not 100%. He explained that it wasn't an issue at boarding speed but at cruise home speed it wasn't right. Since the warranty job he says its better. Anyone else have this issue on their boats?

Shaving the Chine off RZ2

Exactly, it leaned to the right even with passengers etc along the port side. If he is in today Ill take some pictures. He explained it was only a slither off the outside chine, but this was enough of a change to correct the problem. He says it also evened the wake up. I always found the wake on the RZ2 to be different from TS to HS (wakeboarding), not enought to worry about, but from right to left was steeper. Stay tuned for some pix.

What Nobody? By calling BS are you saying that you think I'm in top physical form? Thank you!

Okay, I went to check this out further and take some pix for you all. The amount of glass removed is so minimal it is actually hard to see, so photos would be useless. The owner said to me that before the modification the boat was very susseptable to weighting and now it is very forgiving. He lead me to believe that they did this under warranty as someone else (a really perdantic owner) would not settle that the boat reacted that way under speed, so someone, I dont know who came up with the idea of shaving some of the chine off. At a guess I recon they have only taken about 1/8"off, but apparently it has made all the difference. Good to see some great backup by the local dealer and Tige here to solve these issues. There should be more of it.

Our previous boat (Seadoo Challenger 2000 with Mercury V6) leaned starboard until it got on plane. A quick informal survey revealed some did, and others didn't.
Our current Tige 24Ve does not lean - until we want it to, of course.
I wonder if there's some natural production variation that causes this.
