I am just not sure about the center portion of the rear seat being pushed forward. You can't stretch out across the back seat. Any thoughts?

I thought it would be an issue when I bought my RZR, but apparently wasn't an issue as I purchased a z3 with the same seating configuration the following year. I think I would still prefer a full bench but am fine with the way it is now.

That's the only thing I can't get over. Why did they do that? So many cool things about the new boats and then they do that. It reminds me of an I/O.

Is that how the current Z3 back seats are? I have sat in one a few times at the dealer and never even noticed.

When I saw the first RZR and R20 we got in with the new configuration I was like WTF is Tige thinking...Then I went out for a day on the RZR and pretty much rode every where in the boat. Thought about it the next day and I never even noticed the seat sticking out. It really is a non issue IMPO.

I do have to admit, I really like the boat. The back seat thing does stick in my craw though. Probably just because I want to know why? It's such a departure from the norm that it has to have some sort of reasoning behind it. I'm quite sure I could live with it however.

                  Dope ride for sure.

I loved the new Z3's but wasn't sure about that backseat issue. A couple things I don't like about our current Z1, the floor cupholders and whenever you fold the seats forward, they hit the can in the cupholder, just a matter of time before a seat gets ripped becuase of it. I asked Tige about it and they said it was a part of the mold and wouldn't be changed until they have an update. The tower could just be a few inches taller. The average person just brushes their head on the tower walking under it. The underseat cooler was usless for us, but I know they change that.

I actually think the notched out backseat is a novel idea and love it on our RZR. If u sit in one of the back corner seats, sit back and relax with your arms resting on the top of each side it makes for a very comfortable seating position. You can't do that with a straight bench. My 2 cents.
