Most trailers for the RZ2 willl run around 1,200 lbs, probably guess 1,500 lbs for Z3. The dry weights are deceiving, they do not include the weight of the oil in the engine, the batteries, the stereo and speakers, the tower, the Bimini, I think you get the idea. My dry weight is 4150 plus 1200 for trailer which equals 5350. When I weighed the empty boat for my move from TX to WA, it was 5800. Add a full tank of gas and a cooler full of drinks, life jackets, anchor, and your pushing 6300 lbs.

Bottom line, unless you weigh it you don't know how much you've got back there, but a good WAG is to add 1,200 for the trailer and 1,000 on top of the dry weight and your pretty close to actual weight.

Just checked out the specs for our boat and there must variations.
The chart states seating is 11 and fuel is 40 gal.
The stickers in our 2000 21V say seating is 12 and fuel is 38 gal.

That's great, much appreciated. I didn't realize dry weight didn't include the tower, speaker, oil, etc. I just thought that meant without fuel.

              Thanks.

I am just curious how you weighed the boat without the trailer? A crane?
                Be excellent to one another.

He could have weighed the trailer while the boat was in the water, then weighed them together. He could then subtract trailer weight from combined weight.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

I weighed my 24ve on a truck stop scale last year as I was taking it to storage. I don't have the certificate handy, but I think it came in around 5,500# with tower, gas & tandem trailer. I think the dry weight was listed as #4,230

                      Bad Clean joke:
Two keystone cops were chasing a robber who just stole a purse from a little old lady walking down the street.
The robber looked pensively both ways, saw an old time-y drug store, ran in, jumped on the scale and got a weigh....

                        Weight

20ci ozarks. Weigh boat and trailer? I went to my local grain elevator, cement plant, etc. Pull boat and trailer on to scale w/ car just off scale, unhook the hitch from the car and you have the weight for boat and trailer.

As you can see most of the boats are well over 5k with trailer, fuel and equipment. Make sure your hitch and ball are rated above what you are towing.
