Just wondering how you made out with the gel coat fix? Did Tige help you out? It looks like I am going to be responsible for my boat as Tige has said that gel coat and cracking is excluded from warranty coverage.

Wow that seems bogus. If the gelcoat cracked because of a defect that requires re-enforcing it seems to me that a design flaw caused the gelcoat issue and that Tige probably should pony up and fix gelcoat at no charge especially if common to early R20/RZR production in 2011.

Did Tige ever resolve this for racerdav? The thread has been hanging on fo a while with no response. If not mistaken this issue was admitted by Harvey that a stucture re-inforcement is needed which would seem to me that this is a design defect and not a typical gelcoat issue. In a comment this affected early S/N R20 and possibly RZR's.

So I spoke with Harvey with Tige' today. He told me this was not a uncommon of a problem with the early serieal number 11's it needs the hull reinforced in that area... It has seemed like my boat is got a line of issues, but Tige' (Harvey) seem to want to help it is hard to get to pissed off I am just hoping I am getting close to getting the bugs worked out so all I have to post about is the fun that I am having with the Boat!!!! 8D

If I resurrected an old thread, oops sorry, but this info is usefull for folk contemplating a used R20/RZR.

It is bs if Tige does not standby strutural issue if that is it!
