    Blower Issues - 2012 RZ2

OK - this one is a little puzzling. I put a 10 amp fuse when the 7.5 blew and everything worked fine last time out. I go out today and nothing. Check the fuse and it is fine - try to manually turn it on (e.g. switch next to the medallion) and nothing. Light comes on the manual switch, but no blower. Everything else appears to be working fine except the blower.

First question - can anyone tell me where the blower actually is or a picture would be even better? Also, any ideas of what to check for? I did look at the wiring into the fuse box and it looked OK.

    Any help much appreciated.

Here is a pic of what it will look like. It will have a black corigated looking hose on 1 end of it. It is located in the rear of the boat..sorry I cant tell you exactly where. But its usally pretty easy to find.

Mines in the ski locker on port side, even tho mines 8 years older than yours. If you get it to come back on at all you can head it enough to locate it. Good luck

My blower recently stopped working as well. Make sure you check the in-line fuses for the blower. There's three fuses for the blower: one on the panel, one before the panel, and one before the manual switch. If you look under your dash, you'll find them. I believe the wire colors are yellow and they are in individual black casings. It looks like a mess up there with all of the harnesses and such, but they're there. Hope this helps.

I have the 2012 Z3 and my blower isn't working either. The switch under the dash lights up if I turn it on but no blower. I havent really looked at it too much as I am taking it in for the 20 hour service on friday and I figured mines well have them do it then.

If that's the problem, definitely have your dealer show you where to find those fuses. It's a mess up under the dash.

              Had the same issue.
              Yep Follow the yellow wire!
On Mine it was bundled in a mess of other wires

The bigger question is why is the fuse blowing?

Yep - that is the question. I was told to replace the blower and bilge with larger size fuses. I will check the fuse up in the dash assuming I can trace it through the maze of wires. The fuse in the medallion is good, the main breaker appears to be working (e.g. nothing tripped and when I switch it on the light comes on).

For something that only has a 7.5 AMP fuse in it - my question is why in the hell is it fused 3 times? My two amps do not have 3 fuses and pull way more amps. What a pain in the arse!

I did check mine, OCD, couldnt wait until friday lol. It was the 7.5 fuse. I guess I will replace it with a 10 amp. I'll be buying yet another fuse kit for just a single fuse!

Not sure where you are located but any auto parts store should sell just the single fuse you need.

Same thing here! Found the 7.5 panel fuse blown but the manual switch would turn it on. Guess all the tige touch fuses are located in the panel. I'm going to replace it with another 7.5 so I can avoid a 10amp fuse forcing the inline fuses to blow first thus making me wire chase to replace them.

Never mind...found it! But where the heck are the inline fuses? Lol

Anyone get a recall notice for the bilge pump? I just got an email from the dealer
