The vertical part of the base that controls the height of the seat doesn't stay locked anymore it's bottoming out. Has anyone had this happen? Is there a piston in the base that can be replaced?

Those didnt work from the git-go, so Tige made a running change in the 07 model year. Most that failed got swapped to a fixed post, but some early ones got swapped with another adjustable post. Not sure of the aftermarket source, but I bet thier is one.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Let me know if you need a replacement and which design you have. I acquired one a while back and never installed it because it requires a pilot hole to be cut into the floor. The piston extends @ 2" beyond the bottom of the base plate. Its been sitting in my garage. Ive attached a link to what mine resembles, I can get more info if your interested.
PM me and I will give you my cell.
