Source for mono leaf spring for 1998 extreme trailer?

So my boat is sitting 300 miles away with a broken leaf spring. Anybody know where I can find a single leaf spring replacement? Of course everything I can find are multi spring packs while mine has a single leaf style spring.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to break one of theses. Anyone know a source for them?

    Thanks. Bakes

Momo leaf are harder to find. The best place to look would be a Trailer house parts store. Most of the old trailer houses had those springs. Or the internet. You could also spend the extra $ and buy all 4 springs an convert it to the multi pack springs. Trailer will pull better and ride smoother too. Get the springs for 3500# axles which are 1750# each should run roughly $30-40 per spring pack. Just need to measure lenght of the spring and bolt size.

My trailer is stored away from me too, so I'm assuming you can't measure it. Have you tried contacting Extreme Trailers for a replacement or at least the size info? 951-682-5522
I have never broken one, so if you find a replacement post up your solution for the rest of us.

I found this single leaf spring.

Well...turns out they are a little hard to come by. RAther than drag this out a few weeks with my boat/trailer sitting out in the elements and still not reset from the trip...I am just having them swap out the rear ones with 3 leaf pack springs on both sides. Will likely convert the other 2 in a few weeks as well.

Anyways, my recommendation is to swap them out rather than replace the mono-springs. I was really lucky the axle did not dislocate itself at speed since the when the monospring broke...so did the structural support locating the axle. Much less likely to happen on a triple spring pack.

Going to pick it up on saturday...hopefully all will be well

Good luck, I think you will be much happier with the way the multi packs ride/pull too.
