    advice 22ve or RZ2

Looking at upgrading from our 07 20V to a 2010-2011 22ve or RZ2. Just want to get opinions. We mostly surf now but also do a bunch of boarding.
Is there a huge difference between the 20v and the 22 footers in wake. We put 350 up front and 900 in the rear and get a pretty great wake--could be longer.
Is there a big difference in wake between 22ve and RZ2.
I know the pitch fork front end has more room but what about the main area.
It appears the 22ve is a little cheaper to buy used
Havent been able to compare them side by side or been behind one surfing.
    Thanks for any info

I had a 2007 22VE and now have a 2011 RZ2. The RZ2 has more bow space and a tiny bit bigger wake, nothing that couldn't be duplicated on the 22VE though. As far as dunking the front end the boats are pretty equal.Surfing they are pretty equal too.You can't go wrong with either one.The PCM 343 is plenty of power for either boat.Good Luck!
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

I think for wakeboarding that the 20V actually throws a bigger wake to be honest. Not saying that the RZ2/22Ve don't throw a great wake but it's easier to sink a 20' boat than it is a 22' boat(for ballast that is). My buddy has a 20V that throws a ridiculous wake.

Back to the 22Ve vs. RZ2...the cabins are about the same size but the main thing that I like about the RZ2 over the 22Ve is the cooler location. On the RZ2 it is on the starboard side behind the driver and on the 22Ve it is on the port side under the seat closest to the port side helm. Surf and wakeboard wakes are very similar and relatively easy to dial in.
