New Tige owner 2003 22v limited

I jsut bought my first Tige had a mastercraft before. I had them install a custom ballast system in it as it did not have one from the factory. I cant wiat to see how the wake turns out when its all done. I pice up the boat in about three weeks as they are ordering a new trailer for it and installing the ballast. On another note i am looking for wakeboard racks that will swivel for it any thoughts. I have been looking at the roswell SI series to clamp on to the tower. Looking foward to getting the boat it has 129hr on it one owner.

    Thanks

Nice boat. I have a 2003 Tige' 22V and I have dialed in the wake quite well. Here is what I run:

    - 550 pounds sacks in each rear hatch (1100 pounds)
    - 260 pound fly high side sack under each bow cushion (520 pounds)
    - 580 pound fly high center sack under the floor in the bow (580 pounds)

I find that if you weight the boat evenly from front to rear you will be the happiest. I run the TAPS between 3 and 4. If you don't have enough weight in the bow I woudl supplement with lead bars, or someting like these bags: http://www.pop-products.com/our-products.html. The wake very nice and meaty, clean with a nice lip.

Thaks I am also running pretty close to the same set up 550's in the rear and the bow sack. will see how it goes from there if i need to *** the additional weight like you did in the storage areas we will see.

Welcome - that pic makes it look like you have a blue bimini that is mounted sky high on top of the tower - I am assuming that is from the boat behind you. I have an 04 22v and love it.

Ha ha it does look that way. The Bimini is on the boat behind.

I have the factory setup 900# in my 2003. I can bet this set up is awesome. I know just adding 350# up front really makes my wake perk up. I would say anywhere from 1000-2000# is all you need and make sure you get some up front. Bow weight is very important to get the best wake on this boat IMPO. Oh and she is a good lookin boat! Congrats!

Thanks everyone. I am looking foward to getting the boat. I do need some info on a bimini top for it. In the past on my MC i custom ade one that attached to the top of the tower and pulled foward. That worked great as you could stand under it. I know the tower on the Tige has factory bimini top mounts can i get a factory one for it and does any one have a cost?

                          Thanks

When you say under the floor, were you able to put a sack in front of the gas tank in the bilge? meaning under the walk through bow floor or under the bow center walkway cushion?

I have the same boat, I am running the same sacks under the seats in the front but looking to add more front weight that is hidden.
