    Vinyl replacement question

I just finished removing all the trim from my 98 PRE2002WT. Removing the trim from the bow area was a total pain. I had to have my skinny armed 10 year old reach up to undo the nuts holding the trim to the hull. There are a total of six bolts fastening the trim to the bow. I can easily access two. The remaining four are a nightmare. Anyone know a better way to reach these? Putting the trim back on is not going to be fun in this area. Will try to attach a picture later.

On my 2000 23V, the trim was simply screwed into the fiberglass in the seam between the cushions, only the trim in the main cockpit had bolts and screws.

Yeah. I'm not so lucky. This photo is a bit grainy (took at dusk), but you can see where the six bolts are located. With the minimal space along the floor and the depth of the wooden structure, I can't figure out how to get more than a 10 year old sized arm in there. The rest was pretty easy to take out. Not looking forward to putting this back in. I even tried pulling the nav lights with the faint hope I may be able to access a couple through there. Again, arm is too big.

Wow, that is tight. It will feel like a new boat when you are done!

Cut a 5" hole on each side to access those screws. Once the vinyl is complete, fill the hole with a pair of speakers

Now there's and idea! And yes. The pain will have been well worth the effort in the end with the new vinyl in there!
