Stipper Pole from rear Ski Pylon?

I've seen this thread, but it died out...

    http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...tripper&page=2

So has anyone ever put a stripper pole attached to their rear ski pylon?

On Tige's the pylon mounts to the fiber glass infront of the engine compartment. On other V-Drive makes, I notice it goes down to the floor.

I'm trying to set this up for this weekend for a big party we have called SeaFair

Be careful with that new boat at Seafair I would never take my boat out there.

We expect pics of the talent on the pole

Do you by chance mean something like this...?

Mounted on a Malibu but exactly how you are thinking it takes the place of the pylon. and it does go all the way to the floor.

And it will support enough weight to have a show every once in a while!

That's exactly what I mean! But our ski pylons don't mount to the floor, so that's what I'm worried about. Straight down is the engine compartment

Yea that is my friends boat, we seem to have a good time with that thing.

I think given a bit of work, you could make it happen! have to have some creative engineering and support brackets, but very possible.
