Z3 Lights / Heater staying on with Key Off

I have a 2012 Z3

When i have various accessories on in "accessory" mode, they don't turn off when i turn off the key / remove key.

Courtesy Lights and Heater are the two i've noticed

Anyone else experience this? Seems like it would drain the battery if it happened in the slip

Part of me thought maybe they'd turn off with the Blower, but didn't have time to experiment while hauling the boat up the launch ramp.

When i put the key back in, and turned the boat on, both the lights and the heater turned off.

they will stop after 5 mins
if you dont turn them off they stay on till the system module goes into hibernation

Yes this is normal. Agreed they do turn off after 5 minutes.

happened to me once to date where batteries where off...no key...courtesy light was on for awhile...not sure how long...my neighbor called to tell and was still on when I got home a half hour later...no clue how or why...hasn't happened since that i know of...
