Tige is a cheese burger Mastercraft is a Morton steak........

Tige is a cheese burger Mastercraft is a Morton steak........This is what a local MC dealer told me the other day when I was checking out a used X2 in stock for my buddy.....cracks me up how arrogant the MC dealers are around me. So far 18 hours on my Tige and no issue that wasnt known when I bought the boat. All boat MFGs make great rides....I hate to hear about certain MFGs ripping on other brands. Fo

MC has there issues as well

It is amazing how arrogant Mastercraft owners really are. I know the owners of the local Mastercraft dealer here and they are great people and do not have that attitude at all... but going to the lake every weekend and my boat sitting in a slip in a marina I can tell you almost all of the Mastercraft owners have this attitude.

Life is too short to care. I have the boat I want and the one that works for my family.

I don't want to derail the thread, but about half of the questions posted on this and the MC forum are related to the new electronic gizmos not working as they are supposed to . There are many updates to the software, and it seems to me that the touch screens are more trouble than they are worth. I feel like an anti technology old fogey.

But I probably would have been against electric windows in cars back in the 70's when they came out. At least I have never had a car with power windows that has left me stranded with the windows stuck.

I have had the opposite reaction from the local MC dealer. As soon as he found out from our friends that I bought a Tige his first comment was Tige builds a nice boat. He offered to take care of all of our needs in his shop. Every time I go in to buy something I get a great discount on our items we buy. Maybe he has a long term plan. our friends have been MC owners since 2006 and have never trashed our purchase.
The Tige dealer that we bought our boat from. 1 1/2 hours away told me 2 weeks ago while my boat was in the shop that if he didn't have to answer the phone from customers he could get things figured out on our boat faster...Really? Then call your customers back when u say u are going to! mot impressed with our first service visit with the Tige dealer.

well im about to have my first service visit with my tige dealer, taps is INOP, two cushions need replaced(stitching is coming out), rear foam on ski platform is coming loose, carpet in storage are is coming off boat walls, beauty trim along rear cupholder rattles as it came loose. So far I like my tige but it needs a few things straightened out.

I had a bunch of stuff on my Malibu like this...I think they all have issues of some sort.

Agreed. Now you can even order some MC's without the touch screen. Makes me pretty interested in an x-30 because I doubt those tige touches (and all touch screens) will last 10+ years.

Power windows are simplistic unless you owned a 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee, failure was engineered and they all had to be replaced within 4 short years. I don't see the point in Tige Touch honestly. It reminds me of an iPhoney or Droid where everyone constantly has to play with it. Takes the simple fun out of boating.

You really need to use one. I was out all day yesterday in a 2010 22Ve. The Touch Makes everything so simple and easy to read. Touch surf left and its all automatically set touch go home and its all ready to go back to the dock. We put 7 hours on it never had to mess with anything.

I really dont see why it wouldn't last for 10+ years.... I mean they have been in boats for more then 15 years. Just not ski boats.

I'm just a little like Talltigeguy....anti iPhone/Droid, that's all. All this nice stuff just makes the boat more expensive every year, like Dom's said. I would invest in "leaving the factory quality" before I invested in elaborate bells and whistles. Just my too sense (two cents).
