If its a complex system, I will sometimes come off the distribution block to a small BUSS bar of my one, thats mounted by the amps. This gives me lots of terminals for the head-unit, EQ or other zone control, BT, LEDs, etc.
    Thanks Mike! You're the man!

Surf406 Bumping this old thread to see if you can clarify something for me. I have a very similar setup (installed at factory) as Surf406 in my 2014 RZ4, except only two wetsounds amps, not three. Two of The mounting screws have pulled out of the wall and the amp is bouncing around a bit, now even broke off one of the RCA tips. My question is: what are these amps mounting to in this area behind the passenger seat? Is it directly into the fiberglass side of the boat or did Tige put an insert in these for mounting in this area? I’d like to beef up the mounting screws and possibly add some screw-down webbing straps to secure it better, but I don’t know what I’m screwing/drilling into here. Any help or suggestions welcome, thanks!

Its a composite board that glasses in the side of the hull.

I would unscrew the remaining screws and slightly relocate the amp so all 4 screws penetrate new board.

Ok, existing screws seem pretty thin and don’t seem to want to drill in easily in their own, that composite must be pretty tough stuff.
