3M apparently makes a scratch guard for the back of the boat that is commonly scratched from wakeboards etc. It is a clear 5-6" tape of sorts that totally protects it from scratching. Anybody heard of this?

I had Nick as WWS install it on the back of the R20...super product and keeps my transom dent and scratch free. I'll need to replace annually but its worth it .Squid

Yes, I had a 6 inch guard but switched it out this year for a 12 inch guard. It is great stuff, protects your gel coat from fading and oxidization as well.

I had my dealer install it on the back of my Z3 - works great. Same concept as what you can get on the hood of your vehicle. More durable than the stuff you put on your smart phone.Comment
