Well pulled the boat 3 hours got it in the water let it idle while I parked the truck got back and there was an noticeable white exhaust I took it out a little way and as I went out it cleared up and didn't do it again while idling. But at idle the warning light comes on as soon as I give it some throttle it goes off. Any ideas??

What warning light? If you are referring to the small red indicator light between the tach and speedo, its the v-drive oil pressure.
