Ballast Pump Question

So looks like the johnson 1000gph pump is the factory standard.

so here goes. Cannot find replacement for it. meaning the same pump. looks like johnson makes a 550 750 and 1250. but if i go to 1250 how will that throw my fill times and percentages on tige touch?

anyone know if you can get this pump. want to replace one of mine that i feel is not filling very fast.

IIRC wicked had to replace one. Have you checked to see if it is covered under warranty?

Have you checked to make sure there is nothing in the pump?

Its a Johnson twin port pump model 4890 - 1000 gpm.

Found one at West Marine yesterday.

Seems this model is being replaced with a 1250 gpm.

Somebody on this forum did a real-time comparison between the two to see if there actually was a difference. Don't remember who it was.

As for replacement with your suggestion, that's what I've been doing except this last pump melted the housing so I needed a complete assembly.

Don't have TigeTouch so it's irrelevant....but hoping to add SurfGate someday to my Tige.

Isn't your 2011 under warranty? If so, let your dealer acquire it through Tige for you.

I just bought two of these and they are exactly the same as the 1000 Johnson pumps that came with my 2012 RZR.

The pictures shows 550, the ad title says 950, but the pump themselves say 1000.

I believe you can modify your ballast fill timing via the tige touch setup screen. Pretty sure I read that on here somewhere.
