Awesome - my boat is on Norris Lake as we speak. I have been stopped a million times about the boat and of course the bu and mc haters always have their 2 cents to say. Nonetheless this is good news given there is no Atlanta dealer.

Any chance of Tige corporate doing a co-op Z3 display promotion at the Tyson airport. So tired of seeing the Bu an Axis on display there at check in.

I'm at the dam (launch there) my mom lives pretty close and I have been storing my boat there until I get settled in Atlanta. I'll be out this weekend (Saturday) - not sure where Twin Cove is, but I am sure that I have/will pass it here soon. Up to 14 hours already on the boat and 12 of them have been on Norris lake. I really have missed Norris!!

I have been wearing it out. We are moving in on Monday and hope to get the boat back down here after school starts. Let me know when we want to start up the Saturday surf deal we talked about. I hope you guys had a good time on vacation and talk to you soon!

They did a pretty good job of upgrading that marina over the winter. Huge improvement from last yr....and also the best gas price I have found on the lake..

Twin Cove is left out of the dam past Mountain Lake. About a 15 - 20 min run. I usually surf between the Dam and Twin Cove then head to Sequoyah for fish tacos....then surf on the way back...

We will be on Norris Lake at Twin Cove July 29 - August 4. Last time out, I was able to meet up with Guapo. I would enjoy saying hello to any other TO members on Norris.

Any hints about places to ride, surf, or eat on the Twin Cove side of the lake will be much appreciated.

There is a good change I will be there on the 29th. If so I will let you know. I love looking at other peoples setups and talk about what works and what doesn't. The food at Twin Cove is not that good. Since the bank foreclosed on the builder a 3rd party outfit has taken over that the bank hired. They have not done a good job managing it but the bands on the weekends have been pretty good.

For food we usually go to either Sequoyah or Shanghai. Sequoyah has the best fish tacos I have ever had and also added some great items to the menu this year. Shanghai has fat tire on draft and the food is good. Go there mostly for the draft beer.

Twin Cove has the highest gas prices so don't fill up there unless needed. Norris Dam is the best and Sequoyah is second. So I usually hit one of those since we go right past them.

I start surfing once I get out of the narrow section of the lake which is two bends up once u leave twin cove. I usually drive about 10 mph on the way there and fill up the ballast.

The water stays decent between there and Norris Dam. Not to many people at Mountain lake which keeps the traffic down. Most people there don't start going to there boats til after ten and come back in around five. So morning and evening is the best time to surf. If its not a Holiday week the water is usually descent during the day.

Hope that helps and if you have any other questions just let me know.
