well to start off thanks for all the help I have gotten learning how to surf foot placemwnt was the biggest help. Now, I have 2 540lbs bags and an 1100 lbs bag how should I utilize these in the boat I was going to fill the 1100 in the rear corner a 540 on the opposite side and one filled 1/2 in the front is this right/or will it work? also when picking up a downed rider which way do you turn the boat what are the risks of flipping a boat it feels unstable?

Even though it feels pretty unstable I don't think your boat will roll over. This is how I turn around so that I don't have to deal with waves. Cut the throttle and just drift straight for about 5-10 seconds. Waves will roll away from you. Spin boat around inside your wake and cruise back to get rider. Might take an extra 15 sec to get back to rider but you won't be dealing with any waves at all. No chance of submerging the bow and you won't feel it rock your boat. You also won't send any waves down your next path like you do when you turn the boat around with speed.

X2, and when you turn around, just use a slow idle speed, you'll turn around very quickly, just remember you got to keep it low and slow.

For weight I would play around with the 1100 in the corner, the 540 in the bow, sideways across the bow if you can, and if you don't have many people in the boat the extra 540 on the seat, but I don't think you'll need the second 540 on the seat. This set up will give you a descent size wake with a looooong pocket.

I have an 06 20v and I fill my 1100lb sac in the corner. Probably about 1000lb. I then have two 155# cubes up front on the same side. Then we usually have 2-3 people sitting on same side. This makes a sweet wake but would like to add some to the opposite rear corner. Let me know how it goes.

thanks for the help guys I'll be patient with the turn around and the wt Ill put the big one in the back a 540 in the front and mess around with the other to see what results I get. If I remember me camera Ill try for pics of the wake

As far as turning... the best way is to turn into the surf side. The boat will always want to turn the wrong way when you come off plan.
If your surfing on the left, turn left.

I have the same boat as Fire_Medic. We put a 1,100lb sac on the surf side on top of the stock hard tank which is about 300lb. None on the non-surf side, none up front. We use the Taps to plane out, just leave it about 2 or 3 (could also put more weight up front and increase taps). If too many people are in the back of the boat we do have to put some wieght up front though. Speed at 11.
