Removing carpet in preparation for Poseidon-style flooring?

So, has anyone ripped up the carpet, gel coated the floor, and laid down Poseidon yet?

Didn't reread the entire thread, but I think someone wondered about just rhinolining it, as that might be a whole lot less expensive than gelcoating it. That is what I would do.

Can they make white rhinoliner?

I could be wrong but I thought that you can get rhinoliner in any color you want. Maybe not at Home Depot or Lowes though.

When I had a scratch fixed in my hull I asked the gel coat guy what he though and he said it would be a lot of labor. You would have to get every piece of carpet and glue out before gel coating.

I wanted to to this but have since decided it wasn't worth the effort.
