Drove several mastercrafts and was not sold on them. I liked the interior better then the Tige, the BIG screen seemed to be a bit faster response then Tige Touch. The ride was very sloppy, and not responsive like Tige....yet it took the waves just as good as the mastercraft. Power wise the Tige seems to be stronger then the X2/X30. Im picking up my RZR this thursday.

.....Went to local Mastercraft store today to pick up a new wakesurf board and sales guy asked me when we are going to finalize the deal on the X2, and I told him Im picking up a Tige RZR thursday....his response priceless. He said well what made you go that direction, I said I was impressed with the overall boat/performance of it and it was much cheaper then the MC. He then said that that your not comparing apples to apples and thats why there cheaper, I responded your right....The tige looks better, rides better, handles better, and has a better wake. He didnt know what to say then. My wife and I couldnt believe how big of a Douche bag the Sales guy was at MC dealer. He couldnt think to say a positive thing about it, just bashed the Tige the entire time. I walked away laughing glad I didnt join the MC cult.

Ha classic MC Dealer for ya.

I have a feeling I spoke with you before your purchase and this thread started.... Did the test drive of the MC help. Good luck with your RZR. I hope you enjoy it.

Tony.....you were awesome. I actually talked to the Tige rep also named Tony and told him how great and helpful you were. There were a few things I liked better about the MC then the Tige....but not enough to sway me away.

I had virtually the exact same experience with a MC dealer after I had demoed a X2 and RZR back to back and chose the RZR. Congrats on the boat!

Mastercraft sends their salesmen to a special training program than teaches them to be extra douche. The Mastercraft salesman I talked to told me the Tige towers were plastic! Congrats on your purchase.

here is what I dont get. I did not look at MC or Malibu for this last boat. I was debating a supra or a tige.

the entire time I looked at the supra I was being told just how bad tige was, from start to finish. I mean just how bad they are MFG'd all the way down to what a POS PCM engines are. 75% more time spent telling me what a POS the boat I now own is or will be, and not much time selling me on the supra and what is so much better or why it would be the boat for me.

the tige dealer in SLC only talked about this boat. and what it was, what he liked about it.. what he thought was could be better. I often think back and go I could have went either way. I like the SC brand. have had great luck with my past moombas. The sales guy did not determine what my end decision was just find it so odd sales guys try this and act that way.

hello....not a direct comparison but we have had 2012 Z3 from skipper buds for a couple weeks now....
                    1. yes throttle is sensitive especially in chop but you get used to it
                    2. love the tige touch...amazing
                    3. upholstery looks problematic....concerned about white, the step down cushion etc...stiching is so far great and looks awesome
                    4. Z3 handles and steers great
                    5. some plastic things broke already on the sides, the motor cover chipped and is very heavy to lift

Overall the Tige rocks our lake....more and more showing up!

                    good luck!

anyone able to give some advice to above question?

                            UPDATE:

I have put 13 hours on my RZR now and I love it. The power/performance is amazing. We surfed/wakeboarded/tubed and it did a great job. We hit some rough rough waters and it took it like a champ. I have a few little issues(taps leaking, cooler leaking, stitching coming out of seat, depth gauge not workign) with the boat that need to be fixed by Tige but overall im happy. I only have the basic ballast system but with the 250 hard tank filled and 7 adults on surf side the boat put out a tremendous wake. Also I cant say enough about the REV8 wetsounds tower speakers and wetsounds Syn 4 amp. That system is incredible.
