    21V - wakeboarder.com post

    Hey all 21V owners,

There's an interesting post over on wakeboarder.com that I thought some of you might enjoy responding to.

A well-known, anti-tige' kid who posts over there, has supposedly spent time on a friends 21V. He desribed the boat as "an undependable, small-waked, rough-water-slamming, rickety POS."

I thought many of you would get a kick out of those comments. :-)

I'm sure some of our happy 21V owners might like to share your thoughts.

Yeah, my '99 21v Limited is a real POS - NOT!

Actually, it's been the most reliable boat I've owned. No problems, just routine maintenance. I actually bought it from Nick Howard when he worked at the Ski Dock here in Austin, TX.

I'd take my boat any day on rougher water which is the exact reason we bought the boat. As far as wake goes, the consistent comment I get from owners of other ski/wakeboard boats is how much bigger my wake is without ballast. Once we load it down, it's really sick.

There's a reason my neighbors at Lake Buchanan are switching to Tige. You can't beat the ride, wake shaping ability, room, storage and performance of a Tige V drive (except for maybe one of their I-drives ).

I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I stay away from posting on that site. I read it occasionally for pure humor, but other than that, no posts from me. If you enjoy getting into a pi$$ing match with a bunch of 12-year-old-know-it-alls, then that is the site for you...
