Regarding the steering cable, there is a thread that shows the process:
                http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...?t=7338&page=3

The cable you need is the following:
TFXTREME SSC154XX where the trailing XX is the # of feet for the cable. Assuming there is one, open the floor hatch behind the motor cover. You will see the steering cable. The number on the cable will most likely be there. You can then Google to find availability/best price.
Exactly! that thread makes it so easy and you may also be able to look right behind the steering wheel and catch the part number printed on it in the few inches before the cable goes into the wall. From the access panel behind the motor you'll be able to see two or three feet of the cable, so it will definitely be visible there, but it may be zip-tied down under the blower tube and you might have to root around.

Thanks everyone. Appreciate all the comments and support. I'll be posting another thread for some tech help. Second time out with the Tige and I hit a stump. From what I can determin it has a bent shaft, bent strut and the prop is wasted. I can't believe my luck.
