As many of you have seen on this forum I have designed a step that attaches to my 2004 24V grab bar on the transome with out putting any holes in the fiberglass. I have had a lot of interest on this web site wanting to know a price and when they will be available. I am not a business owner, just a tooling engineer and I do not want the liability that would come along with marketing this step. What I would be interested in is selling the engineering portion to one person who wants to market this item, not sure if that is an individual or Tige'? I have used mine now for the last month and a half and it works great but I am 165 lbs so I have no data for someone over that weight, you might need to beef up your transome if you weigh more like they do for adding a tow ring onto the grab bar. I have prints and a solid model that I would only want to sell to one person, not mulitple people. If there is anyone out there that is interested please PM me or you can call my cell 270-925-3584. I also have some extra custom Seadek pads that go on the top of the step that would come with the package. I also have quite a few SS bolts that I would have no further need for that I will also throw in. If there is any interest by anyone please let me know.

Thanks for all your interest. I had time to think about the liabilities associated with marketing these. I keep going back to the fact that these are not 5K boats. I love my step as I have had may people comment on how impressed they are with it. I even had a Mastercraft owner say he loved my boat but he would not even consider owning one if it did not have the step on it because it makes getting to the swim deck much easier and it made putting on his board much easier because he could sit on it. I started out this adventure to make one for my boat which I now have so I am good with whatever happens from here but I would like to sell the engineering to someone like Tige so the rest of you guys could enjoy what it would be like to be able to get in and out of your boat easier and to be able to sit down while putting on your board. It also works great as a beer table.
