Curious what everyone uses in their Tige. Do you use regular no ethanol, premium no ethanol, do you add any fuel additives, Stabil in each tank.. etc etc.. Just curious what everyone puts in their boat to keep it running smooth. Thanks for your information.

Grab the popcorn, cause this topic will be good
Your engine is designed for 87 octane, so no need or advantage to run higher. If you fuel up on the water, most marinas have 89 oct in the tanks, so you are stuck paying more for less.
Your 08 fuel system should not suffer any ill effects due to ethanol blended fuels. Its nothing new and has been around for years. The only side effect of ethanol to be concerned with is water absorption and phase separation. During the normal boating season, this should not be a problem. When storing for the off season, adding some fuel stabilizer designed to fight the effects of ethanol should be all you need.
I dont think running a shot of additive in each tank will hurt anything, but its overkill IMO.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I use regular 87 with 10% ethanol and add marine stabil on every fill up. In my job I can be sent on a business trip or stuff just happens in life and I like to have some protection in the fuel incase the boat sits for a month or two.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

I also add marine stabil with each fill up as we're not able to use our boat every weekend.

Thats right, CO has 85... don't use it. ECM's are programmed for 87 and any higher octane tends to leave soot on the transom from an incomplete burn, worse economy etc... IF you can find non-ethanol fuel USE IT!!!!!! Ethanol is garbage and has caused numerous fuel system problems in boats.Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

I run premium, stabil in the winter, and one tank of B-12 in the spring. There are advantages to premium fuels!
1. Premium fuels have more additives (cleaners)
2. High octane will burn more efficient
3. Better fuel consumption (very little increase)
4. More power (very little)
I see it as money well spent, and other will not!
