Locker and engine covers tight fit

Hi all, I have an 06 22v and was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.
When I open either the engine cover or port locker cover, the 2 covers bind together damaging the vinyl on the engine cover.
I now have torn vinyl in the rub spot. The starboard locker has no issues.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way of adjusting the lateral position of the engine or locker cover.
They appear to just be attached with a bunch of screws so I'm thinking it won't be adjustable.
Another option may be to remove the vinyl from the port locker, then shave 1/8" off of the board with table saw then reattach the vinyl.

Any ideas?

Check your hinges. My bet is they are bent. Mine have all been replaced.

mine rub as well if I open my center one (engine) it pulls both outer ones up as well.

Change your hinges is the best solution. Another option is to undo the vinyl on one of the doors, sand down the edge, and re-staple the vinyl back on.
