    Question on updating graphics???

Hey I have a 2007 RZ2. I love the Freeride graphics and am wondering if anyone has gone through the process of updating graphics on their boat. It has been stored inside and only has 85 hours so I do not think there is a ton of fade, although I could be surprised while I start peeling back the old graphic. But, I like the Freeride graphic enough to go through some wet sanding and polishing if needed. Any thoughts on process, cost of Freeride graphics and the colors they come would be great.

One last thing...I am fairly new to Tige and the forum. I have learned sooo much from reading all of the threads and posts. Reason enough to be loyal to brand to say nothing of what a great boat the RZ2 has been so far. Chpthril got me hooked up with some ballasts and we got my ten year old up surfing yesterday!! good times!!

My wife gives me a hard time because I lay in bed with my iPad and end my day with my friends on Tigeowners forum. Kind of like that insurance commercial when the wife comes downstairs n the middle of the night and finds her husband on the phone with a claims agent. I tell her, "I really like this Ragboy's comments" or "I want to do what Ewok did with his ballst in my boat" Nickypoo's project turned out great"..... She just does not understand all the genius of the tigeowners forum!!! Thanks for all the insight!!

Welcome to the forum and I love your post. I have learned a lot from this forum as well and have taken on projects I never would have done. I have a much older boat than you and I just peeled my graphics off with heat gun and razor blade. I put custom graphics on after that, then took those off and eventually went with the chrome Tige. I don't think that you will need to do anything to your gelcoat. I didn't on the side graphics. The graphics on the transom, I did have to buff with compound and polish due to oxidation on the back.

Let us know what you decide on and post some pics!

Haha, that's great. I do get in trouble on a regular basis when I ask my girlfriend how her day was and then start typing during her answer. I don't think you'll have too much fade. Mine is 3 years older than yours and lived most of its life outside and has very little fade behind the transom graphic.

I did mine and it was very little fade on the sides but I too had to use compound on the the rear and polish it but it was worth the work I love how my Tige looks now. I too love the support on here all questions answered fast and lots of how too stuff that I would have paid for before, the other day I was told by my Girl Friend don't you think your spending too mush on the boat.....she must want me to spend more on her HAHAHA!
