More Wild Fires in Utah next to our house

Another wild fire broke out just a few miles from our house where I mountain bike:

This is just within an hour of the blaze starting:

    One of the first responders:

Then the small planes came into drop retardant:

The fire spread quickly and by night, almost the whole mountain was on fire:

We are one street away from Alpine, we are on the north border of Highland. But that is where I mountain bike.

Thanks Da.Bell, it is raining now and that is definitely helping the fire fighters.

It is a great facebook pic for sure. Dad is surely hamming it up for the cameras talking about smoke flowing down the street and them grabbing the dog and being evacuated, and the kid is just looking tired from the whole thing.

Ha, ha, that was funny. The majority of the fire is out, and they are dealing with the hot spots. Only a barn and a some heat damage to a few homes. Nobody injured. Just an ugly black mountainside now and no trees for 20 years.
