Taps / Battery Issue

I've come across an issue with my Taps resetting to "7" very time I turn the boat off. Is this typical?

I've had some other issues with gauges malfunctioning. Does this sound like a battery, wiring, or grounding problem?

That is what mine does too. I dont think it is an issue, but occurs by design. I also have an 04.

as jwank stated, it was the norm for that model year. From what I can remember you prob have the Lenco electric ram on your taps plate? You may be able to contact Lenco and ask if there is a way to bypass that setting.

I also have an 2004, this was normal and from the fishing industry as I was told by Lenco,this can be bypassed by taking the key power and wiring on all the time, however when you do that you have to relearn its computor module everytime you restart other wise the guage wont know where the plate is.
