Anyone had their TAPS readout shift relative to the plate's actual position?

    I agree with that. You need at least 10' of water to get the wave.

      Similar to what Ewok asked, but does the gauge read 1 when the plate is all the way down and 8 when it's all the way up?

      I seem to remember something in the manual about a method for calibrating the gauge. There have been times when my gauge wouldn't get below 2 even with the plate all the way down, and I thought of calibrating, but then it would get back to normal before I had the chance.

        Mine displays from zero (no bars colored) to eight (all bars colored) and always has.
