Okay, it's working!! Managed to get it unscrewed and just like iwndr said, the impeller wasn't turning.
What a pain in the rear spot for these pumps to be located!!

Glad to hear it! I may have missed it in the earlier posts, but when the pumps wouldn't run from the TT, did you try the manual-override switches? This would steer you toward a power/ground, pump or TT problem.

Yeah chp, I did try the manual switch as well and it didn't work either.
Does anyone know why there would be a red flashing light on that fuse box under the helm? Its towards the rear and on the left about 1/3 of the way from the top. Can't actually see the light itself, just a red flash, flash, flash, about one flash every second, maybe just a bit faster. All of the fuses in the box are fine.
Now if I could just get my stereo to work.....
Dang it. I spoke too soon. The pump only worked for a few seconds then would quit. Did switch pumps around so we can surf for now (took the right rear fill pump since I don't really use it and put it on the left drain). So now I will have to order a new pump after all!
I have the same light flashing that you mention but have no idea what it means.
I dont know what it might be, can you post a pic?

My opinion on the digital display thing is its ridiculous. As for ballast pumps, they don't last long. At two years get ready to replace all of them over the next 2 years. Buy 4 or 5 at a time on Amazon and remember to buy heat shrink butt connectors.
These problems were so much easier to diagnose when you just had a dash switch. So now Tige has both dash type switches underneath and a display. Surely that is not very cost effective, I guess that is why new boats cost so much. I am going to side with Nobody on the ridiculousness of this.
Aerator style ballast pumps last forever. I don't know what he is talking about. I disagree with Nobody. Given how many of them are out there, failures are few and far between.
