Feel Like the dealer is feedinng me a line of BS

So I have had problems with my TAPS 2 gauge not functioning, but the ram still functions. After reading all the posts here (thanks to everyone) I took a gamble and replaced the gauge. However I am still left with the same problem. Again after reading thoroughly I found that it could be the sender or the Taps relay so rather than pay around $400 for both parts I thought I would take it to the dealer and have them diagnose and then only buy the part I need.

Today the dealer calls me and tells me that they need to replace the Ram, the sender and the relay bc I replaced the gauge. He claims that on the Tige if only one part is replaced then the whole system will malfunction. I believe that is a crock o crud, but wanted to see what everyones thoughts are. Thanks for all your help with my new toy.

I call BS. Your dealer feels if you replace everything it should fix the problem.Well i guess so you would have a whole new system. I would call Tigé and see if they can assist if someone on here doesn't respond with a fix.

That doesn't sound right at all. Replacing just and analoge gauge is not going to make everything else fail. Yeah, I say BS too!
