Just about had it with my tower and bimini...help?

I have a 2007 24VE (I bought it new in 2010) and have hated the tower and bimini since day one. My boat sounds like a rattle-trap when I'm under way, and I'm about over it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to address this without spending thousands of dollars?

I have the e-series tower with stock bimini, and am thinking that maybe I can replace the bimini with something that won't rattle quite so much. Ultimately I'd like to replace both the tower and bimini, but it seems silly to spend 4 or 5k on a new tower at this point. If anyone can point me in a good direction I'd appreciate it. It's seriously embarrassing with how loud it is, it sounds like the boats going to fall apart.

    Thanks in advance.

Mine rattled and then I tightened the tower. It doesn't rattle much any more. I do take the bimini all the way off if not using or while transporting the boat out of water.

The tower is tightened up very tight, but the bimini rattles like a mofo. I'm thinking I'm going to find someone in Havasu to put together a custom bimini for me. Does anyone have experience with aftermarket or custom bimini's for the e-series tower?

Is there a company that makes something similar to the Alpha Z tower, or can you buy that tower for an older Tige? I know the price would be ridiculous, but just wondering.

I don't know if it will help you or not but Paul's Custom Canvas in Denver use to do most all of the Tige's. You might be able to contact them and see what they can suggest.

Our tower is 4" tube, I think yours is 3". We had our tower reinforced with gussets 2 years ago because of the extra weight from excess weight / wetsound speakers. Everyone is correct with regard to tightening the tower. It's constant maintenance. I have to tighten all my bolts about 3 times a year. Travis Clem in Tarpon Springs Florida (Quality T Tops) made our custom bimini, we LOVE it. Very sturdy and strong.

I e got a 2007 RZ2 with the stock Bimini and it rattles like crazy when it is folded up, when it is up/open everything is pulled tight and I don't get the rattle. Not sure if this is the same for you. If so, the solution that I've come up with is a bit redneck but cheap and works great. I've cut about a three inch section off those foam water noodles the kids play with, sliced it down the side and it slides around the Bimini tubing where it normally rattles against the trailer. I'm new to Tige so it maybe a bit too hillbilly but it works!

I have a bimini from Towerbiminis.com and I am very pleased with it. It is not on a E tower, but I am sure they can make one for you if you are sure there is no other solution.

And Nobody is exaggerating the size of his parts again...it's a 3 inch tower, whereas most are 2.5 inches, IIRC. So Nobody's is bigger...
              Be excellent to one another.

                Bigger is better.

                Maybe your right tall, maybe.

This is from towerbimini's on an e-series. No rattles and easy up and down.

Nobody: How much was that bimini? That thing looks sick, I'm guessing it wasn't cheap. When you say you had your tower reinforced with gussets, what exactly do you mean? I have 4 P80's on this thing now, and it moves around a bit when I'm underway occasionally.

Majestic: That looks very clean, and if it doesn't rattle, I'm going to have to check that out. Again, how much is something like that?

$2400 for the bim, the euro lights were extra. The bim isn't sick, "we" were getting sick from excess sun exposure.
