You might be able to use a piece of tape to pull the dome back out on the tweeter.

The system ran on all Hertz amps, but over time they all failed.
The last of the AMP upgrades comes in a week with the addition of a Sinister SD6.

Was thinking of tossing the HTS and using a SYN2 and putting four 808's in the bow.
Maybe someone has suggestions.
One thing for sure is how sweet the 808's are.
I've recommending the 808's to everyone recently....mostly non-wake boat fishing people.

Could you use a Syn-6 with four weaker channels to power the 4 cabin speakers and the two stronger channels to power 808s in the bow? Or do you think an HT-6 would be fine for 4 cabin speakers and the pair of 808s in the bow? EDIT: Never mind, I remember now that the t weak channels on the Syn-6 are only 60x4 watts (the root of my current problem).
Question: What is the difference between XS-808 and SW-808? Just the grill?Last edited by Duncan; 02-15-2013, 11:20 PM.

Yep, just like the 65 and 650 series, they come in the SW style and XS style, but same speaker.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

If you were starting from scratch, I wouldn't talk you out the Syn-2, but at the same time, I think the HT-2 is a perfect choice.
SYN2 becomes a spare when the Sinister SD6 arrives for the tower. Since more is better, was wondering if another set of 808's would fit in the bow / front / lower pockets. The one that are beneath the very front, slightly slanted at a 40 degree. The SYN2 could possible feed all 4 808's. The HT is a great entry level amp that's right on target for budget pricing, but it's not what I'm used to.
