Wetsounds has a new line of AMPS

Well.....a pair of 808's (component) are on their way with a HT2 amp. This will provide a separate amp to the bow, with 165.5 watts to each 808. Pictures coming when the install is complete.

I just finished but forgot to take pics. The 808's sounded great! If we could have done 3 pair of the 808's in this boat, he would have been happy without a sub...no, seriously, the bass was impressive.

Simon told me how deep the 808's are but I forgot. I think 3.75"??

Wondering if I'll need a spacer to bring them forward??

Yes indeed, but.....these 808's will take up most of the space and the LED spacer would have little visual effect. The upholstery will block most of the light.

Upgrade XS650 (6") to new 808 (8")

Wetsounds 808's are the way to go. Here's pictures of one speaker installed in the bow of our RZ4. Slight modification was required simple because of the physical size. Needing more audio in the bow section of the boat, the 808's have the punch we were seeking. Truly an excellent product and worth the price and the wait. Nice job Tim!

New 808's are not up on the site yet, but will be soon. They are in stock though...just call Simon, or better yet get wotj Chapthrl or SPFan on this site. As for power, 200 watts each RMS. Were going to give them 165 watts. Dimensions are: cut-out 7.25" but requires 9.25" outside diameter clearance. Depth is 3.75". Price - worth every penny IMO, but honestly they are expensive but the build quality is there, the sound is incredible, and the bass is very strong.

808 are being updated on the site soon. These are the SW 808 in white. SW is closed grille style. We have them in black as well. And the XS-808 in silver open grille that match the xs-650

A closer look at the picture reveals a damaged tweeter (accident or maybe just inexperience). Opppps! Be sure to use the little plastic tool when removing and re-attaching the tweeter.
