Two new Class-D lines released this year. The Hydro-Heck line is shipping now and the Sinister Series are coming soon.
The HT series will be priced below the current Syn series and the SD will be huge power plants and priced above the Syn. I have a feeling we will see the new HT-6 in the new Tiges. Just a gut feeling, no inside info.
For those that didnt see my post in the stereo section a few weeks ago, here is the info on the SD series
Wet Sounds Sinister series of marine amplifiers represent the pinnacle in 12 volt amplifier design. The highest power to size amplifiers anywhere in the world for car or marine use. Utilizing advanced full range class D power supplies with a patent pending transformer design to deliver power output formerly unheard of in a small sized sealed amplifier. The Sinister amplifiers share one size full cast aluminum chassis for all models making installation a breeze and the ability to have a clean install. All Sinister amplifiers feature a fully conformal coated 4 layer pcb board, single side power, speaker and input section, and top mounted controls with removable cover. Sinister amplifiers have a back lit Wet Sounds shield logo with selectable illumination for red, white or blue that can be mounted horizontally or vertically for flexible amplifier placement. Other features include high pass/low pass/full range crossovers, flexible inputs source selection for single or multiple RCA channel input, RCA pass through on 4ch and 2ch, and removable speaker plugs that accept large gauge wire. The Sinister amplifiers are not only extremely powerful but also intelligent with a built in microprocessor controller for over-voltage protection, under voltage protection, DC offset and speaker short protection, as well as thermal rollback to ensure consistent play in the harsh marine environment. One of the most amazing aspects of the Sinister amplifiers design is the efficiency rating. All sinister amplifiers achieve their efficiency rating at full 4 ohm rated power, the 6 ch is 82%, the 4ch is 84% and the 2 ch is 86%. This translates into less current draw and less generated heat. Over twice that of a conventional class AB amplifier and more efficiency than any other Class D amplifier."

The XS-650 are 100 watts rms and the new 8 inch in boats are 150 watts rms.
Tige is going to be running the SYN amps. Might add the Sinister amps as an optional upgrade!

I was betting the the HT-6 might replace the Syn-6 and run the XS-10fa bridged for 300W.........So, is Tige stepping up to the X-12??????
Or maybe a Syn-4 for the in-boats and a Micro for the XS-10FA?

FYI, I did a HT6 on 3pr of 650's and a HT1 on 2 Wet Sounds free air 10's on a 41' Hydra-Sports and it sounded great.
I'm doing a little system for a friend as we speak in a pontoon boat with a Syn6 on 2pr of 650's, a pair of 808's and a XS12 in a ported enclosure. I'll post some pics in a few. The 808's just arrived last night. I can't wait to hear them!
