I have no reason not to give the dealer and Tige a chance to make it right, stuff happens. I haven't had a chance to replace any of the monster RCA cables yet, Eddie at Tige said the Touch issue sounds normal but to check the video cable which I haven't done yet. Can anyone tell me if it is normal for the low battery voltage warning to come on in ACC mode? There is a data loss warning as well but it says to ignore this if in accessory mode. How do you get the head unit to recognize the under dash USB? All and all I love the boat and I am sure all the bugs will get fixed. What pisses me off the most is that my 10 year old can free ride forever and I can't even with the monster wave the boat makes. I grew up surfing and was even sponsored by a local surf shop but can't free ride more than 50 yards or so. I'm blaming the board.
Did you say that you have removed both batteries yet, and had them checked or swapped them for known good batteries? Just wondering if that might be something easy to check. All of these ground loop isolators are troubling patches for some other problem. I hope that you get it into perfect working order quickly.

All boat brands have stuff like this that happens. Whenever threads pop up with brand X vs. Y, I always say to factor in dealer support. In Gator's case, dealer support is a phone call away, but that's about it. I think Gator got one (if not the best) boat around, but it detracts from the experience that he couldn't just drive it down to the shop and dump it in someone else's lap.
    Be excellent to one another.

I never had any problems with my '86 Century, or my family's SeaRays or Cobalts. I'm seriously sick of dealing with my boat and the mechanics that can't fix it. I'm thinking hard about selling it and getting out of boating for a few years. My parents have had boats before I was born and I don't remember not having one. This boat has completely soured me on boating. Pretty sad really.

I'm not down on the boat. After all, they are all just holes in the water you throw money into. I just want to get my few problems fixed and go on enjoying it. Looks like the battery warning and the flicker on the screen is normal and I can live with that. Im not sure about the fiberglass issue or the stereo issue but hopefully with the help of Tige, this board, and my dealer everything will work out just fine.

They did, it was called the Epic, came with a Lexus injected V8 , no connection to the current Epic, the boat was a major failure, it had issues with warped hulls, electronics, but most of all not enough power to enjoy slalomn behind, I could bog it down on every cut back to cross wake, you should persue a used one they are very reasonably priced.
