    No Taps Tige???

First post here, hello all. I am looking at buying a older tige and wanted a few opinions. Its a 1997 in great shape but it doesnt have the taps system. Would this be a deal breaker for anyone??

    Thanks for the thoughts

What are you looking to do with the boat? I mean seems like a dumb question but I know NOBODY would fish or stuff right. lol

Take the boat out for a test ride and you decide. I have a 2000 Tige and I don't even really mess with the Taps. The boat throws out a decent wake for my boys.

I would personally want the TAPS system on my boat as it offers a lot of flexibility for different stuff behind the boat.

I love the TAPS as it allows you to clean up the wake, adjust the attitude of the bow in rough water, plane out faster, etc. I just dont know how effective it is on the older, flat, 3 event hulls. That boat was made for skiing and from what I read, they were great for that. If you want a wakeboard and surf boat, the TAPS might help.

You should be able to still install it if wanted. I guess technically it was an option that year, but everyone ordered their boats with it except yours , i guess?
