Error 3 On stereo

Alright tell me there is a solution to this:

I bought spotify on the phone and most of the songs I try to play via the USB cable it doesn't play and it says error 3 ... If I play it with the aux cable it plays it ...

It doesn't sound near as good through the aux as it does USB ...

Anyone else have this issue?

I'm guessing the spotify app doesn't/can't/isn't allowed by apple to pass data through the USB (digital) connection. I think aux out is probably your only option, maybe Bluetooth.

Or something I've found with playing Pandora through the USB to my HU in my car... if you have some music on the iphone and start playing those tracks (ipod) function, then pause the ipod and start spotify it should pass the audio (at least it does with Pandora). I have no idea what head unit you're using but if it has ipod control you won't be able to use that, you'll have to do everything from the phone.

I read in the manual (Clarion) that Error 3 means the file is not readable? I have tried pandora on the USB and its just certain sOngs? I dunno but it's annoying.
