Allen, how are you keeping the swim platform from digging into the wake? I end up getting a nice groove from the platform in my RZR. Do I have too much weight in the corner and not enough along the side or just too much list?

            glides,

I have an R20 and its working really well. Rest your mind its just some tweaking and your off.
Welcome to the Family of Tige and (the inter sanctum of the 20 footer surf boat)!

The stock ballast system has plenty of energy to have loads of fun with the family.
The information provided is just a starting point. A place you can then improve upon.

fill surf side tank all the way (like you didn't know that).
fill front horse shoe back 3/4 full (3.5 - 4.0 min).
Fill opposite aft (rear) tank with about 60-75 gal (2.0 - 2.5 min)
Taps at 1 = Surf (steeper transition).
Taps at 2 = skim (smoother transition)
            Speed at 10.2 - 10.8

with this set up go out alone. get is clean and as you add peeps and family distribute the weight evenly as not to disrupt the lean/list of the boat.

            Questions:

            What board are you riding?
            What motor do you have?
Are you having fun, because that what its all about!

Youtube: Squidswake and find ballast testing for a look at my latest setup.
Note, because I have a wake surf demo company I do not have a stock ballast system, but its not much and its all under the seat with all my WIFE"S storage..

                houstonshark,

The underside lip on most Tige models can carve a little line into the face of your transision, I am super lucky and have a Z3 platform. The underside is smooth and eliminates that issue.
I must say that only a little of my platform hits the water so m no sure it's much of an issue.

IMHO, setting up my boat was time well spent alone on the water or with just my son. Having a boat full of friends will only prolong your efforts and flustrate you.

Go out alone with pen and paper and let me know.

I think Tige changed that for 2012, I remember checking out the 2012 at the WWS TO Reunion last year and the RZR that Tony brought had a smooth platform on it.

WWS pimped out my R20 for sure, anything can be an option.
It is a true Z3 platform with the RZR/R20 support arms.

Mine is definitely not smooth. I would have paid for it but never knew it was an option.

Size wise how does it compare to a RZR/R20?

So what do you think of the board? I want to ride it before I drop $900 on a board.
