    Thanks to fellow TO'ers

I spent this past weekend down around Marble Falls and got some help from fellow TO'ers and wanted to pass along a THANK YOU here since I don't know their names.

This is the short version of trip:

-Ran over a mesquite tree and flattened trailer tire.
-Went to put the spare on and it was flat.
-Surfed all day which was awesome
-Broke my wakeboard in half on first run.
-While looking at busted board in the boat I back up over the rope and made a nice mess with my prop.
-I worked with my two buddies for about an hour to get the rope cut and keep the boat off the rocks while THREE different Nautiques just boarded around us and did not give a thought to stopping.
-Then a fellow Tige Owner couple from Abilene in a sweet black and white 22ve stopped to help and lend us some goggles!!!
-Since I was rude and did not get there names I wanted to pass along a big thank you here since I know they follow the site.

Man, what a weekend you had! Hopefully you got a whole seasons worth of crap out in one weekend and the rest will be smooth sailing! Glad someone helped you out and that it was a fellow TO!

          x3 on the fellow TO

Is it a newer board that has a warranty?

Marble Falls may not be the place for you.

A pair of goggles is probably something good to have on the boat.

Hope the rest of your summer is better.

A side note I don't think it matters what brand someone is in, if they need help you ought to offer. At least that is me.

I recall when I had a motorcycle that some brands only waved at or would help certain bikes.

              Way to step up TO's!!!

Wow! What a day, but in reality we've all had this happen once or twice. Sorry to hear about your misfortune but especially nice of you to extend you public appreciation. Now I'm gonna go check the spare tire pressure. Best wishes to you.

Even with the misfortune it was a great weekend. Got in a lot of surfing, better dialed in the new ballast upgrade, the board is replaceable, and when I went to get my tire fixed they happened to have 6 tires (they had 11 miles on them) at $100/tire off retail for my truck The way Iooks at is if this stuff never happens you are probably not spending enough time at the lake!!

                            Hello Jmoore,

My name is Cory Goodman from Abilene, Tx. I sure enjoyed meeting you! Sorry it was in that way!! I completely understand why you said we are about done riding. I knew about the board and rope but not the tire issues. Glad eveything is better now. No thanks needed just happy to help. Like I said this weekend...I have had the same problems too.
