Where is the best place to buy parts?

Hey, new to Tige and love my boat. working out a couple of kinks but well on my way. I have a 2007 RZ2 and am in need of a couple of little Tige parts. i.e. pull pins on bimini, quick loosen handles on tower, a replacement graphic, impellar, filters ect... I do have a Tige' dealer in my area, SLC, Ut but upon a visit it seems that Tige' boats is clearly not their emphasis. More motorsports and such. They had one boat in the corner of the warehouse and the parts guy could not have been less interested in helping. So, is there a way to order authentic Tige parts online and just have them shipped?

    thanks

I personally love doing business with Forte's Inboard Connection in Largo. They always follow up, and seem to always have parts in stock, and their knowledge of these boats is incredible. Good people, except the owner doesn't like Toyota....but I can forgive him on this one minor flaw. Forte's website is:

It all depends on what you need. You have Marine Products that has some parts.

There are other brand dealers around as well that may have what you need. For original Tige graphics you will have to go through them.

You can have your own graphics made but they will still be costly.

Some things you will need to go through the dealer to get.

For impellers filters and many other parts I use the internet and find the best deal trying to group things together.

One method that I use is to see if I can find the manufacturer on the old part then search them out and get what I need through them or one of their distributors.

Last but not least is to search this site for the parts. I believe the quick loosen handles were just asked about.

hmm... I am actually suprised to be honest. I have had nothing but great success dealing with Drew at high Adventure. i agree seems that they have other interests, but I have had no problems getting a couple of items solved from them, and I know they are committed to the brand since they dumped monterey this year and have really pushed the Tigé brand. Hence why only one boat is my guess. I would call in and talk to Lance or Drew. they can get you what you need. I know that much.

Now to address the other issue you mention.... lack of gear ext.. you can thank marine products for that... since they have a strangle hold in that area... Not sure of the details but i am told since they are within so many miles of MP they cannot or are not allowed or cannot even get the gear to sell... I personally would love to hear the details on this... since I think competition in the market place is great for US the consumer!

              Parts Question

Not sure where you are at but in Minnesota, Heinen's motorsports, Rich in parts dept. was absolutely the best for me. Needed a part which he researched through Tige'.(Factory response sucked, period.) and I was shipped the part, informed of what was happening and couldn't be happier. Makes me wish I could support the dealership by buying a new boat!!! I figure the factory customer service wants this handled by dealers so they didn't respond....not sure the "premium" support is there for the boats quite yet from the factory end but have to admit the folks at Heinen's in Osseo,MN are on top of their game. Good luck and get on the water!
