    How many hours per year?

Hey Tige family! I sold my 05 22V 5 years ago and have regretted it ever since. I found a really clean 04 22V, tower, big stereo, heater, perfect pass, etc for sale, but it has 669 hours on it. I thinks that's alot of hours, but the delaer says it isnt bad for an 8 year old boat. Engine checks out with good compression in all the cylinders and the dealer has all the service records on the boat. Opinions??

Go for it! Don't be afraid of it! That engine still has a few thousand hours of life left in it! As long as the interior and other items are working great, that boat has LOTS of life left in it. Personally, I would take a boat that has a few more hours on it than one that sits most of the time.

I've got a 06 22v with about 450 hours on it, so about 75 hours a year. Runs like a top, never had an issue with the motor.

The one your looking at is about 80 hours a year. Not much difference, but it depends if the previous owner(s) were loading it up with tons of ballast or not. In my boat, I do not.

I have 208 hours on my 2011 RZ2, but i purchased it with 164 last Sept.

I would say thats on the high side of avarage, but not a deal breaker if its well taken care of.

Its a little higher on hours, usually an average boat owner than uses their boat puts about 50 hours a year on their boat. But the good thing is the boat was used, and didn't sit. If it has than many hours and still looks great, that means the owner did not neglect it. If its the boat you want I wouldn't hesitate pulling the trigger. My 1995 just ticked over 680 this weekend, my neighbor put over 1200 hours on his Tige before selling it.

That should give you an indication of what is possible. How many hours per year do YOU plan on putting on this boat? Just knowing that this boat only has roughly 50% of what Joe's neighbor put on should give you all kinds of warm fuzzies. If you put 80 hours a year on it, you at least have 8 more years of riding behind it just to reach that number.

I have 275 hours and according to Dom, that compares (equates) to 20K miles on a Dogde/Ford/GM vehical and about 13K on a Toyota.

We have 15 hours on our week old Tige. We put well over 100 hours a year on our boats. It took 2 weekends on my bro's new MB to get to the 25 hour service. I don't understand folks that put 10-20 hours a year on a boat.

I usually run about 120-150 hrs a year on our boats. My last boat I owned for 17 years and put 1300 to 1400 hrs on it. Sold it to my best friend and he has put another 400 hrs on it in the last 2 years. As long as the boat is maintained and the dealer has the records go for it.

I know right? I can't see how people can only put 10-15hrs a year on thier boat either! That's only two weekends per year! Oh well I guess thats the same as having a nice C6 ZO6 garage queen with only 2k miles waste if you ask me.
These toys are meant to be driving! That's where the fun is and if taken care of they'll last quite a while!
I've put 160+ hrs on my tige since March last year (it had 13 demo hrs from 2010-2011)
                        2010 Tige RZ2 "Fully Loaded" 650hrs

My first inboard which I just purchased is a '99 21v which had 260 hours on it when I bought it. I don't understand how people can use it that little (good thing we knew the people we bought it from to make sure it was ran every season...). I have had my boat in the water since late April, and already have 42 hours on it! These things are meant to be used, and have time tested motors in them, I wouldn't hesitate!
