    Boat numbers

Has anyone used domed boat numbers from these guys?

    http://www.domednumbers.com/

The pictures look sweet, but how is the color match and quality.

I was thinking the same thing earlier when I checked out the web site. They look nice and if the colors match-up, they would look like OEM equipment!!! The drip molded numbers to match the drip molded graphics on the side of the boat would be a nice touch... I'm still waiting for my sticker from AZ...so as soon as I get my numbers, I'll order a set...

I got my numbers custom painted for the first time on my new Tige and I came out better than I expected. I will post a pic as soon as I can.

You might want to check with a custom sign shop. I got the letters for my 2004 22V and he matched the fade of the tige emblem from light to dark and back to light. He custom printed them and they still look great after two years on the water. The letters and numbers look incredible.

The sign maker only charged $30 for my order; two letters and four numbers for each side. I was able to choose the font and everything. It was a very good experience.

            Good luck.

I did the same thing as yllis. Except for the fact that the guy I used is a buddy and all he does is stickers/vehicle wraps. Top quality stuff. I actully ran the buffer over them while cutting down those pesky water spots and had no issues. I'm sure I could grind them off if I really wanted to but, working the gel coat between them with the buffer and some cutting creme had no effect. I was VERY impressed with the durability. Plus the fact that I was able to limitlessly customize them was awesome. I actually had him make another set with a different graffic as I found something I liked better. I've yet to put them on but, come spring I'll have them on. The fact that I can peel them off if I want to change them or they get damaged is a major bonus over paint. The first set is still shown in my gallery. If you can't find anyone in your area, drop him a line.www.stickerspot.com

G-Money If you don't mind can you post up some pictures of the boat. I am interested how they came out and also what paint you used, just in case I get asked by other individuals. If anyone else has had there numbers painted please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I have been e-mailing with Andy at domed numbers. I sent him some pics and he was going to stop by Tige in AZ and look at the graphics himself.

It is possible that he can match the silver/grey snake skin patterns and the "tige" font of the riders graphics and use that for the registration numbers.

                          I will keep everyone posted...

NICKYPOO- Sorry, no pics of the regs numbers. I gues I could take some.

The domed numbers are really nice but I would have a hard time spending $100 for numbers. Not to even mention what the CEO would say.
