If a person was honesty that worried about it you could always weld a nice 1/2 chuck to the area you wanna add something and weld it onto the tower and blend it.. POwer coat is great you can dust some onto the welded area then use a heat gun to heat it up to around 350 for 12 mins and walla all done and blended and wont be able to tell =)

I can honelty say if they do away with the alpha Z I wont buy another tige! I love this tower! Even wakeboarding behind it everyone says its so solid

The other issue with that is moving the speakers more towards ear level makes it much more difficult to talk over the stereo at a moderate volume. I do high end home audio and video systems and for the last 10 years we have always installed speakers in the Dining Rooms at chair level. It makes it much easier to have a conversation being below ear level and you can still keep the music at a decent volume while still being background.

I do agree the speakers look like an afterthought in the middle of the boat though. Maybe if they molded them in somehow so they look more finished.

They need to offer more color options for the rear graphics. I didn't want black or silver. I asked about white and Tige wanted $250. I said eff that and order silver just not installed. They are for the next owner if they want rear graphics.

I voted Vinyl but here are my thoughts on everything else:
          • Tower - Could be taller, spot for additional board racks already predrilled.
          • Ballast - Faster fill and drain times.
          • Gel Coat Options - A few more colors would be nice but a true silver and a true graphite would be sooo nice!
          • Graphics - A few more options that were simplier would be nice.
          • Vinyl - This was a problem for me when we ordered the boat which is why I paid a premium to order a custom vinyl. MC hands down has the best vinyl options that I have seen. A MC interior in a Tige would be off the charts sweet.
          • Stereo - Flush in or mold in the cabin speakers and please stop using the free air sub. At least do a XS12 in a sealed enclosure with options for a vented enclosure.
          • Engine - No complaints here but prop options would be nice.

Some updates to the Tige Touch would be nice.

First, I love the Tige company and the Tige boats. That said, there's always room for improvement. I have a whole list of seemingly little things that I learned from basically reengineering my 24Ve for my ultra-ballast system. Many would cost exactly nothing to implement but would have a dramatic impact on one or more things. Others would cost a little but their benefit would far outstrip the cost.

That said, if I must pick from the list provided I'll choose "tower". Most of the other things are either great already or can be modified by the dealer or owner. However, the Alpha Z tower and its weird cross-section cannot accept standard accessories. Tower setups are different for almost everyone based on their choice of watersports, sound systems, lighting, etc. It is probably the most likely part of the boat to be (semi) customized, yet the Alpha Z tower is incompatible with the vast majority of aftermarket accessories. All it needs is a round tube section for mounting; it can keep its overall shape (which I like, BTW), the way it folds, and so forth. But the addition of a 2.5 inch round mounting rail would deliver a big benefit to almost every owner by giving them maximum flexibility.

I understand the theory of "market control" by having proprietary interfaces, forcing your customers to buy from you when they want to accessorize because no one else is compatible. But in almost every example, open standards have beaten proprietary ones - and made customers happier in the bargain.

                Just my $0.02.

I know it's not on the list, but I think they could really get a better cover for the boat. The one it came with is just so thin and I always has condensantion underneath of it in the mornings. It works out great for the bugs though. A Taylormade cover or something made out of a thicker material like the bimini would be awesome.

I believe the cover is Sunbrella fabric. All versions of Sunbrella I've seen are thin like that. Sunbrella is one of the best fabrics available for applications like this, so while I understand it may "feel" cheap rest assured it's actually quite technologically advanced.

Some dealers use a local cover manufacturer to make cheaper covers not made out of sunbrella. My cover is factory sunbrella and it does a great job keeping out rain and snow.

Under floor ballast tanks with the option for above sacs. Then make the boat deeper and taller. Let's make these boats safe when weighted heavily. My 24v is so so tall, but Tige has gone away from it. My boat sits so much higher then the z4 in my marina. I would also love to see better gear ratios for v-drives to push the heavy weight around
