Hey guys,
I have a little issue that has been bugging the hell out of me lately. I have a teak swim deck on my '99 21v Riders Edition. I have noticed when stopped or parked, the swim deck seems to clunk up and down within the mounting brackets on the boat. If the boat encounters any rollers/waves the back end will lift up, causing the platform to drop down (CLUNK), and then when the back end sinks back down a bit the platform wants to float, causing another CLUNK. It is non stop and really alloying when trying to just hang out (it is pretty loud and vibrates the whole boat.)
Has anyone come up with a fix for this? It just apprears to be slop between the mounting brackets on the platform and the brackets on the boat. HELP before I go NUTS!
