        This has lasted as long as I leave the plaform on the brackets.
        Depending on how many layers you apply. I didn't make it super tight so I have been able to take the platform off and on repeatedly with the same tape in place. Just enough to take the rattle out.
        It is a nice solution because it is incremental (each layer) and non-permanent. (i.e. you don't burn any bridges with this solution)

          So here is a picture I took of my swim deck mounting system. Most of the play seems to be coming from the top of the mount, and there is also some coming from where the pin is. The pin appears to be a bit undersized.

          I was thinking about drilling out the existing pin hole and tapping it, then threading a bolt through. I was also going to drill and tap a second hole near the top of the mount so neither the top or the bottom will be able to have any slot.

          Anyone have any thoughts on this? I think it should work but would like a second opinion...
