I was checking out the pic's of your son wakesurfing( SOLID rider btw), and I was wondering who shapes his boards? I am just now getting into wakesurfing and I think I will prefer a surf style board over a skate type based on the fact that I've surfed "real" waves for a long time.

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the props about James. He is quite talented, not that I am biased in any manner James has won the World Wakesurfing Championships - Boys Amateur for both '04 and '05.

Mike Walker of The Walker Project shapes his boards. Here is the link:

James rides the Bullet model in a 4'5" length. Mike uses surfcad and has all the details of James' board in the CNC machine's computer.

I think that we are going to shift to a stringerless EPS blank for this season. It will offer a little more snap AND because the PU blanks are as scarce as hens teeth.
