Depth Finder Beeping (AirMar)

I have a 2006 Tige V. I had to replace the AirMar transducer but, since I have done that my depth gauge is beeping at me. I can press the "M" memory button and it will stop for a short while. After 10-15 seconds the depth starts flashing at me and the alarm is beeping. You may ask how deep of water are you in? Well this happens in 10' all the way to 70'. My shallow setting is 2' and keel 0.6'. What am I missing here and how do I fix the problem? Any insight would be helpful!! Thanks

I got so sick and tired of my stock depth finder that I said the hell with it and bought a 400 series Garmin with transduce. Now I have a "real" depth gauge (and a fish finder too).

Beeping alarm / depth

I have the same prob with my gauges. Does anyone have a manual on how to set and operate the depth part?

I figured out lower the keel depth and all the other depths to "0" and the beeping stopped.

Mine just reads 997 most of the time.
