I don't know what the 21i capacity is, but it sounds like mostly driver error and dunking the bow. He may have had the majority up front too. Who knows, but I feel for the poor girl.

Ya.. they call us "Rollbar Boats", and there is no love. They are river boaters, daycruising, beer drinking, no skiing mofos. They HATE wakeboarders and surfers, because we make fat wakes.

Oh well, can't be loved by everyone.

I hate big wakes too .

According to the Tige specs, a 2000 21i has a limit of 9 people. And a lot of times if you divide the weight by people it works out to 150ish lbs per person, never mind additional gear. Looks like Lake Folsom.

A good post though, everyone needs a reminder like this every now and again.

Dude! Post up a link to the flatty. I love flat bottoms. We haven't had a flat bottom owner since MD. He has a beautiful Hallett Barron Sprint, my dream flat. What do you got?

We also need some pics of your new 383.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

took a big wash over our bow two weeks ago while surfing, had dropped a rider and was waiting for our wake to pass, got caught between 3 wakes of passing boats, second one spun us round as we went over, tried to pop the throttle but was too late as we went down the wake, the third one hit us, luckily ok, but always worries me !
